Title: Caching in Colorado and Texas
Post by: Dunnfamily4 on Jul 25, 2007, 02:17 PM
We just returned from another awesome camping trip across Texas and to the Colorado Springs area.  I managed to get to four caches on the trip - two in the area of Cascade, CO and two at Palo Duro Canyon State Park near Amarillo, Texas.  The caches were well maintained and the details on the areas around the cache sites were enlightening.  One cache put me on a hiking trail that I probably would have passed on, but was one of the best hikes of my life.  If you visit Palo Duro Canyon SP, be sure to check out the CCC Trail.  This trail has received some attention and is well marked.  The trail takes you to a "tabletop" rock formation on a ridge between two beautiful canyons.

So, good luck and remember "Cache in/Trash out".  Dunnfamily4
