Title: Jay Feather 19H
Post by: nanapapa on Aug 06, 2007, 10:35 AM
Hello all,  We currently have a Coleman Shenandoah PUP, and we're thinking it is time to stop cranking (read: getting old - LOL!)  We are looking at the Jay Feather 19H.  We know that Jayco builds sturdy campers, but can anyone give us any pros & cons about the 19H specifically?  Thanks for any help! :usflag:

We have a Jayco 232 and love it, but looked at all the Jaycos before deciding on ours. I would have gone with something like the 19H if the kids were no longer coming with us.

DH liked the height of Jaycos. Also I thought they were a little bit wider than some of the other hybrids out there.

I still have empty cabinets after two years. Storage in our unit is really great.

Good luck with your search and have a blast shopping!

Thanks for the info, Kathy!  We decided to go ahead with the 19H.  We take possession on Saturday, then off for 6 days initiation in the Smoky Mountains next week!!

Congrats on the new unit. We have friends that have the Jayco's and they liked them.

Jayco may have changed it, but watch the rear dump valves/pipes. They hung low on some units. Not sure if any were ever scraped off, but they did hang low, as I observed a few times.
