Title: Roof Seam
Post by: stewartlittle on Aug 27, 2007, 06:23 AM
After I took the center cap off,put some polyurethane under neath the seam, screwed it back down plus put some extra screws in I decided not to put the cap back on.I just dont see the need for it.I was just gonna go over it with a couple coats of Kool Seal and be done with it.

Any objections on that idea?
Any other suggestions?

On our Jayco PopUP we took it to the dealer repair guys because of a leak through our center cap that runs down the middle of the roof, and their solution was to simply put that "white asphalt like tape" down the whole length of our center cap moulding...that stopped the leak and doesnt look too bad either......
