Title: 2 stage regulator
Post by: wayne2007 on Sep 01, 2007, 02:57 PM
I want to convert my single tank to a twin tank set up. I have mounted the tanks and installed the hoses and regulator. When I open the valves to per the instructions, all it does is vent the propane out. There is a colored guage that is suppose to go from red to green to show you which tank is empty. Do I have a bad regulator?

Here's my stupid question:  You've got the propane system all hooked up right?  You don't just have a regulator sitting there not attached to the camper's propane line?

Anyway, no propane should come out of the regulator, except from it's exit fitting, which would be connected to the camper's propane line.

Problem is fixed, thanks
