Title: How do you become a member of the COTOC
Post by: alexdandad on Sep 03, 2007, 03:20 PM
Hello all.
My wife and I pick up our first pop up on Friday. We have tent camped for years but with addition of two boys, ages three and one, we wanted to upgrade.. We are getting a Rockwood. We live in Connecticut and are looking forward to meet fellow campers.

Welcome to COTOC!  All you have to do is say you want to be a member and you are.  So do you want to be a member?  :D   I hope you can join us on some camping trips.  What kind of a PU did you get?:)

We're just a casual group of campers (not just popups) who camp together. No dues. No rules. Hang out together when you want. Go off on your own when you want. We usually run trips throughout the year (some, like Tracy, camp more than others). Whoever wants to go shows up. Most trips we organize a potluck dinner. Sometimes we go out to a restaurant  :D. Some trips involve sightseeing. Sometimes we just sit around and do nothing... Everyone is welcome.

Hi Bob. My name is Diane and I have an 18yo son who just left for college this weekend. In fact, on our way there, we passed West Haven (sitting in bumper to bumper traffic, of course). I also have a 20yo daughter at college in Rochester, NY. Our youngest daughter is just beginning high school.

I bet you have your hands full with your little ones. I've been watching a set of twins (3 1/2 now) since they were born. What a great time you must be having! We didn't camp when ours were little but I know others have. Can't wait to meet your family.
