A friend of my neighbors told me about Roper Lake State Park near Safford, AZ.

I was wondering if anyone has camped there before. It looks nice and the person that told me about it said it was great. We plan on going this fall or in the spring.
Just thought I would share it with everyone. It's always good discovering something new.

Just nice to see someone is using this sight. I was beginning to wonder if there was any one in S. AZ who had a popup. We almost went into Roper lake to check it out on our way up the mountain to Riggs lake on Mt Graham. We didnt want to pay a fee just to look. Let us know if you go there!

Well I am new but I am ideed here. We would like to go this fall if we can or if not in the spring. I will right a full review when we do go.
I am thinking of going there for Thanksgiving weekend. It should be cool enough by then. The website shows an endangered species fish lake. Has anyone checked that out?
