Anybody been there before? Anything to not miss while we're there? This will be our maiden voyage in our PUP.
I called and there is no burning ban so we'll be looking forward to cool nights by the fire.
Got back yesterday. Very large and clean State Park. The water was so clear I could see the bottom clearly 6ft deep under my kayak. Next time I'm taking my snorkeling gear. i could see the fish chase my lures and turn away. Many fish would look up to eyeball me in my kayak when I passed over them and then go about their business without a concern.
Lots of waterfront lots to choose from, clean showers/restrooms, and large lots with water and 30 amp power. We stayed on loop B on lot 089. There is a playground, though one isn't listed for campgorund B.
We had a great time and will definitively be back.
