We're going to be camping at Goose Bay campground in Southern MD (down near LaPlata, Port Tobacco) Oct 19-21. We've never been there before, so I can't tell you anymore than the website would tell you.

I'd love to join ya'all but I just got back from my 3 rd camping trip in 3 consecutive weekends...so I have to take a break, and it is Raymond's BD on the 19th and the last thing he wants to do is camp.
It is too far for a weekend for me. Have a good time and give us a report when you get back.:)
We just got back from a wonderful weekend. We had a front row seat at the boat dock at the Marina,(a verry, small campground, mostly seasonal). We watched everything from cigarette boats to jet skis go in out of the river all weekend. Very peaceful, color was nice. Went fossil hunting at Purse State Park and found some nice shark teeth. Kershner did a very nice job of towing the 5th wheel through DC traffic. I wouldn't want to do it!! We are getting better at backing it into our driveway and the parking pad. We didn't even yell or fight today. We are getting the driveway expanded soon so it will be even easier (we hope.) Hope we can see you again soon. We do miss everyone, but schedules just have not cooperated lately.
Glad to hear that you had a good trip. Are you done camping for the season? Are you interested in camping the first weekend in November or Thanksgiving?:)
