Title: Wiring Adapter
Post by: Hargus on Oct 23, 2007, 07:45 AM
Hi All,
I was going to do a favor for a friend and tow his trailer for repair. My connection is a 7 way his is maybe a 4 way. Is there an adapter I can put in my connection to make it simple? It's just come up and I haven't checked the local auto part store yet. But I thought I may have seen one.
Thanks.

Yes there is. You can look here http://www.trailerwiring.com/ or go to your local auto parts store. I went to three before I found one that carried them. Here in AZ it was Checker Auto Parts.

Yes, they are easily available.  You may find one at an auto parts store, but U-Haul or an RV dealer is almost certain to have them in stock.

I looked at U-Haul and surprisingly they didn't have any. Checker Auto Parts had several different types.
