Title: Camel Campers
Post by: uploon on Oct 29, 2007, 03:27 PM
Does anyone have any pictures of a "Camel" brand pop-up camper.  Ours was a 1970 model.   The only Camel campers I see in a search are from Australia. Thanks for any help.

Cheers!  JC

:yikes: Big family you got there Wavery  :p

Uploon, I have 3 camel brochures that i bought of someone on ebay but i have no way to scan them at present.
Meantime here is a pic of a camper that was for sale on ebay a while back.
It's a 1969 Camel Dunes, canvas top.

And here is one of a 1970 Camel Oassis III. The Oassis series had hard tops.
It has 3 bunks, one is to the back, not seen in the photo.
The Oassis II had 2 bunks, right and left.

Thanks for the picture, I appreciate it.  That looks like ours, just a different color, that is the PUP looks like ours, not the animal taxi.

Cheers!  JC
