Spent Thanksgiving vacation at Cheraw State Park in South Carolina. Very nice small campground for RVs....17 well designed, well situated lakeside sites. Really nice Host who has been camping there for years. Park has a nice 18-hole golf course and some great hiking/horse trails. Canoe/Kayak/Jon Boat rentals available.
Highly recommend this park!

A man! Now my secret spot is out!.
I agree, it's a nice quiet place to camp. I enjoy the boardwalk and trail that follows the lake to the playground on the other side of the lake. The creek below the spillway has some decent fishing for panfish. At the north end of the lake is a nice quiet motor-free area that leads into a deep creek full of cypress trees. It's a great place to paddle a canoe or kayak as well as fish.
