I'm looking for places in the Ozark National Forest and the Ouachita National Forest to dry camp.
Suggestions????
Anywhere in Arkansas is dry camping. They still don't have electricity or running water there! :D
Just kidding. I know this was not a constructive post.
Welcome to PUT (although I see you have 16 posts already).

Yeah we got electricity in most places in Arkansas. We even got us one of them Nukcler plants and some kind of coal plant that makes electricity. In them area with electricity they even got running water and indoor plumbing. Now in some places, dry camping is a step up for the folks that live there on a full time basis. You know they got that one kid that's bald headed and likes to play a banjo all the time.

Glad you can take a joke from your neighbor here in Tennessee!
Now, get on your cow path, and spend some money in my state!

DW, DD and I are coming to Murfreesboro TN the week of Spring Break, so my DD can play in a big invitational high school softball tournament. Trying to get the DW to let me take the PUP and camp at Cedars of Lebanon. Have you ever camped there??

Yes, I have. Nice park. Very woodsy. It is pretty close to here, about an hour away. You shouldn't have trouble getting a site there during spring break (in March???). However, you might need to check and see if the bathrooms will be open. Go to
