Has anyone heard of a new body-shaped sleeping bag? I saw it mentioned on a blog recently, but I do not know what company makes it or what stores sell it. It's a normal sleeping bag but shaped like a body.
Seems to me it would eliminate the bunching and twisting I tend to experience.
If anyone knows more about it or has used one, I'd love to hear from you.
The only thing I can think of that is like what you are describing is a mummy bag. These have been around for decades tho so they are not new.

I have not slept in a body shaped mummy bag since I was in the Boy Scouts a long time ago..While they are snug and warm, your body movement is very limited....I prefer a big over sized sleeping bag with lots of spread out room ....

Not at all the mummy bag.....how about a super duper ski suit?? LOL

DH and I both are a bit claustraphobic so this would probably work better than sleeping bags....
very interesting

That's pretty cool... two things, though. One is I don't understand how it works since I thought that sleeping bags kind of worked off your own body heat... sort of like mittens compared to gloves.... but they claim it keeps you warm...
Another thing is, considering you can walk around in it, imagine waking up in the middle of the night, half asleep after a few drinks and seeing some guy walking to the bath house in that! :yikes: LOL.

I can't stand mummy or barrel bags for just that reason....I move around a lot when I sleep and have the "jimmy legs" so just can't get a good nights sleep in those.
