Title: Where's Viking ???
Post by: Recumbentman on Aug 22, 2008, 10:14 AM
Brian
Since you have taken your spill awhile ago, we haven't heard much about how you are doing. So how about giving us an update on how you are doing !!
Are you going to continue being a desert rat  ;).  When I was in my 20's I was very much into jeep-in in the desert and one night I was one of those fools that tried to climb a hill. I wound up rolling my jeep 18 times down that hill  :yikes:  and needless to say, I found new hobbies after that.

Same here. I off-roaded for 10 years, from the time that I was about 21. I can tell you that I regret it now.....especially when I get up in the morning. All those broken bones and torn ligaments just aren't worth it. In your later years, they come back to haunt you....... :(

I know that you have a lot of $ invested in all that stuff but the toy-ho makes a great poker palace too. :-()

I'm still alive. Still have issues with my knee and ankle swelling up when I walk.  My ribs are getting better, i can sleep laying down now, just not on my side.  All in all I'm getting better, it's just with age it takes longer.  We plan on desert trips, I need to fix the quad first, it's in worse shape than me right now.

Thanks for asking

No worries Carol.  My issues are a drop in the bucket compared to Dee's.  Plus mine were self inflicted.  I'm looking forward to a time when we are all healthy and hangin by the fire again as well.

The title says it all. He moves to Arizona and is never heard from again. What did we do to scare him away :eyecrazy:

Brian, did you have another accident or is this the same one you had before you moved?

I hope you feel back to your old self soon.  That guy who crashed your last trip out with us is still a mess but James (my nephew) is back zippin around.  Can't tell he had his whole face reconstructed.

SSDuanes MOM and Hubby Bean casserole, mashed taters (oh ya, and don't forget the jello and pudding)
SSduanes Bro and Niece

Guido and dbrmamma , Darik, Brianna, Roman PIES

J.T. and Bam Bam, Fried Turkey and a Side dish TBD

Crazeecowgirl, Weedkiller and Hannah Hash Brown Casserole

Sounds yummy!  Hey Viking--sorry to hear you still are in the recovery mode but at least you are on the way to getting better.  We'd love to see you at a ScCampers rally.  My kids and Jacob say hi to Ashley.
