I'm looking for a campground near Solvang for the weekend before Thanksgiving (Nov. 22-24).

I already know about El Capitan and Flying Flags... but I need more choices. Any suggestions?

Lake Cachuma, Can get hot, and you can not go in the water.

or
The Red Rock area along the Santa Ynez river. Not really a river and it gets crowded during the summer but spring is nice.

There are lots of nice beach camping in Santa Barbara it's about 21 to 27 miles to Solvang depending on which one you pick....Google Solvang camping and it'll bring up about 10 beach sites.....Good luck and have fun......
