Title: Old Pulleys
Post by: Bluedog225 on Jan 19, 2009, 02:21 PM
I am replacing some of the pulleys in my 1974 Coleman Brandywine.

Looking at the ones I have removed, it looks like they may have little bearings in them.  Otherwise, the interior bearing surface is scalloped.  Too tiny to really see.  Does anyone know if they have roller bearings or if they just look that way.

If they are bearings, I am more likely to replace since they are pretty beat up.

Thanks

Tom

Yes they have bearings in them.  That is why it is so important to keep the pulleys well lubed with silicone.:)
