do some dispersed camping (boondocking) and are not sure of where we can go....i have been doing some reading and it seems we can camp for free on any PUBLIC land......Does any one know if thats correct? or is it just BLM lands....so much info and nothing real concrete.

I'm not sure if you can camp on BLM land for free or if you need an annual permit. It should say on their website. We may be going camping this Saturday night in Queen Canyon the other side of AJ near Florence Junction. Some of our friends are going ATV riding out there for the weekend and we may go out to socialize and spend the night. It's desert camping and it's free.
I know you can go on National Forest land but I think most of that is a little further up North where it's still a little chilly.

Go up around box canyon/price rd. last weekend but thought there would be to many atv's runnin around. Yes too chilly up north still.
