Anyone ever stay at Half Moon? Thinking of going there for the last week in July.

We haven't stayed at Half Moon yet, but if every other Vermont State park that we HAVE stayed in is any indication, you probably will enjoy it IF: you don't need planned activities to keep you entertained, you don't need hook ups, you want to enjoy nature, hiking, biking, paddling, etc.

Spring has sprung, the cross country skiing is ending and being replaced by MUD and the smells of Maple Sap being boiled into syrup!

All of the above  :D! We do like Vt SP's. We usually go to Vt., Maine or NH for our end of the summer/before school starts, trip. After that we stay closer to home for weekend trips till it's time to put the pup away for the winter.
  Thanks, Alan

Our family of four stayed at half moon last summer and loved it.  Try and get one of the sites right on the water.  They are mostly flat and level and easy for popups.  Your neighbors are nearby, but it's a pretty quiet place - mostly retired folks and young families.

Thanks, we are staying on a site on the waters edge. I don't remeber the number. We're looking forward to it.
