Hello Happygirl,

Another camping season is upon us and I am itching to get out. We are planning to go to New Madrid, Mo for our first trip out this year (4/25). Been wanting to visit for a number of years...so we are going. I have wanted to put up the PUP and do some projects I thought up over the winter, but everytime I get close...I make it rain.

Do you have trips planned yet?

We've been trying for several weeks to make our first trip - but the rain has not cooperated. We are going next weekend April 24 to Lake Fort Smith.

We are not from Arkansas, but love camping there...spent two weeks there in the last few years visiting Petit Jean, Crowley's Ridge, Crater-of-Diamonds, Mount Magazine, Village Creek, and Jacksonsport State Parks. All of them are great, but Petit Jean and Village Creek are my favorites. I'd love to hear about your recommendations for future trips.
