Beautiful and Diverse State of Arizona. Great to have you head'n into town.
It is a fantastic spring day here in the simi high country
but where you are heading there is only HOT and HOTTER in July. :yikes:
With an occasional Warm thrown in for good measure.
I for one would love to see an active camping club in these parts.
If anyone can spark a flame I'm betting it would be you.
SC Campers always seem to be out camping, very cool.
Have a great Spring.
Be safe on the move and if you are ever in the area give me a shout.

We were out with our Girl Scouts trip and I am glad to be back. We don't have many plans for the summer yet. Only 4 night booked up north to get out of the heat.

Glad to see some activity in here!!! We have a few trips planned for the summer all within the great state of AZ. We will be at the Aspen Campground at Woods Canyon Lake June 14th thru the 17th with several families. Anyone is welcomed. It is an awesome CG with a short hike to lake, well spaced sites, no hook ups or showers but who needs that right? If dates do not work maybe a rally can be materialized.....

In order to be able to carry the articles we need to the lake, while c arryi ng an adult beverage, we choose to use this mode of transportation in lieu of ..........hiking. It's even hard to say..

By hiking I meant a paved path to a general store that is fully stocked with fishing gear, adult refreshments and ice cream for the wee ones. It looks like your mode of transport could get by just fine and it looks like it might have a cup holder!!

If you want to look at your private messages, do the following:
You have to be on a page viewing anyones post's or threads!
At the bottom of the page, goto "FORUM JUMP".
Scroll to the top...
Listed under "SITE AREAS"
Second line down is "PRIVATE MESSAGES".
There you have it. I could not believe how many "UNCONFIRMED" messages have been stored. So now I am slowly deleting them each time I log on.

OK people. It is now 6 days and counting for our week long trip and I am about to go nuts!! I've packed the "box" thrice and I might even sleep on top of it tonight I'm so ready to go. The kids think I'm nuts but they don't realize yet that I am. First time on site since the upgrade and besides updating avatar and signature all looks good. If anyone is around Woods Canyon Lake next week let us know we can share a pop. Has the Viking headed towards the desert yet? Post some reviews AZ!!!

Not yet! I wish. Still packing. Will land in Phoenix on June 18th. Will be looking to camp up North before the kid has to go to school. Probably on the rim somewhere.

Welcome back to AZ. Hope you can bring along some cool weather. It has been not too bad for the last week and a half but the day you arrive we are to be back to triple digits. YUK.
We just got back last week from Ponderosa Campground near Payson for 5 nights. We had great weather and the campground and hosts were great.

Enjoy your visit to the mountains. We were up in the Show Low area in March for a week. It was really nice then. We hope to get back up there around the Labor Day weekend, everything depends on the work schedules.
I wish we didn't have these triple digit temps. They are really beginning to bother me.
