Title: 1984 Starcraft Popup for sale in SoCal
Post by: austinado16 on May 30, 2009, 04:32 AM
$1,950.00 Firm.
SOLD in 24hrs and on it's way to Lemore, CA!

Beautiful old-school Starcraft in fantastic condition.  I'll let the photos speak for themselves with one caveat; the camper is actually nicer in person.  The interior will just put a smile on your face!

-10' box,
-1,300lbs empty with a max axle rating of 2,000lbs
-Dexter torsion axle with electric brakes
-Built in reverse lights
-12v/110v convertor
-hand pump faucet with 13gal water tank
-city water hookup
-2way fridge
-3 burner inside/outside stove
-inside outside dinette table
-1 full-size bunk
-1 queen-size bunk
-plus about a full-size on the dinette area
-Tires have 200mi on them
-Original blue and gold CA license plate, but upgraded to PTI registration

The interior and canvas are literally in "as-new" condition.  On a 10 scale: 9.8  There are even matching curtains. The refrigerator is making ice cubes in the ice cube tray even as I type this.  Both interior lights work, as does the porch light.

If you love the 80's Starcrafts with their plaid rust-n-brown colored cushions, walnut paneled interios with the wicker insets in the cabinet door fronts and fridge front, and heavy tan canvas, this camper will blow your mind.  These were so well built that the bunk plywood is even skinned with textured aluminum on both sides, and the telescoping roof poles are clad in canvas to keep water from running down them into the camper and rotting out the floor!  The inner fender is even signed by someone at the Starcraft factory.  How's that for "built in America" pride?

I'm located on the coast, 200mi north of Los Angeles and 200mi south of San Francisco.  Delivery possible, but you really should come see it in person.

Rest assured, I'll never sell my Nova.  We love it and I have it way to dialed in for what we do with it.

He probably saw all my great photos of what pop-up camping is all about......plaid, canvas and screen windows through out, and hid his silly head in shame for owning that metal sided contraption he now drags down the road:D
