This is a great website on current fire information.

Please say a prayer... this fire is very near where I have worked for the past 10 years and we have a lot of friends having to evacuate in La Canada and north Altadena.
Thanks Gracy this is a good site and we up here in Apple Valley are really having lots of smoke and the air is thick.....Hard to see and breathe I just can't believe yet another year of these wild fires it burning up California....Take care all of you in the fire areas and know our prayers are being said for all of you.....
Our thoughts and prayers go out to all affected by the fires. Hope all is well with Laura. Keep us posted.
Thanks, Dave. :)
Compared to everyone west of me, you'd never know there was a fire. It's not nearly as smoky here as it is toward Pasadena. The Morris Dam fire is 95% contained so isn't a threat anymore, thankfully.
It's hard to hear about that Station fire, especially when aerial fighting is being hampered by the massive smoke. While it's a blessing that there's no wind, it's really making it difficult to use the helicopters and tankers. Never mind that it's almost impossible to breathe in that situation.
Gotta keep praying for everyone involved ... not a good time over here.
Here's some pics that some may find interesting.
