Just wondering what your thought were for your favorite campgrounds in Chattanooga?

We ended up going to Chester Frost Park just North of Chattanooga. It is a very beautiful park. Lake Front camp sites were only $25 a night. The bath houses were all clean. They also have very nice playgrounds at the campgrounds as well as in the park. I would suggest taking a loop of the available sites before you commit. Quite a few of the sites are not level. Of course I didnt do this and picked what I was told was a pull thru. It was a long (82') narrow site that opened up at the end. My two girls loved the camp site and all the wild life. The lake is full of ducks, geese, loons and some big ole fish that we could hear flapping every evening. There were also plenty of playful squirrels and at least two varieties of wood peckers.

Less than an hour from Chattanooga is Cloudland Canyon State Park in Georgia. We stayed there (it's one of our favorites anyway), and did the tourist thing in Chattanooga.
