Well, the beautiful wife chiming in...I would like to suggest a summer bar b que for the fathers for dinner!  We will bring the burgers (patties & buns) for everyone, and would like to have everyone else bring condiments.  Let's get creative and make some fun burgers for dinner (chili, avocado, peppers etc.)  How about side dishes, like corn on the cob, watermelon, potato salad etc.

This would be fun and easy for everyone!

After discussing potluck options with the DW last night, and upon review of the submissions so far listed, (really, how many beans do we need?:D) we respectfully request permission to resubmit our contribution choices as follows:

Breakfast:  Fresh Fruit, Yogurt, Home-made Granola
Dinner:  Lettuce, Tomato, Onion - Red and White, Cheese - Cheddar, Swiss and Provolone, Pickles, Mustard and a Relish of some kind.
We will also bring 1/2 dozen chicken breast fillets for the grill to augment the burger patties Brad and Mary are providing.

Wish I could join you all as that park is less than 20 min. from home, but I'll be on my way to Yellowstone & 5-6 weeks on the road.  Hopefully I'll get some good pictures and will be able to post as I go.  Depending on the timing, I might try to come by Pismo Beach on my way home.  We'll see ...

Have a great summer, everyone!  Ten more days of school -- y'all can pray that everyone survives until June 18th. ;)

Quote from: Recumbentman;217469Well, the beautiful wife chiming in...I would like to suggest a summer bar b que for the fathers for dinner!

To get back on track here. I need potluck donations from you campers ;)

where is everyone :eyecrazy:

Just to clarify, we are making Chili, & Cheese stuffed peppers not peppers stuffed with chili & cheese.  Sorry if I confused anyone else.  I am confused enough for everyone.  HA HA!!!
