We will be in Santa Paula, Calif.@ the Ventura Ranch KOA.

Dave (Griffsdad) will be in charge of the poker rally. If Dave wants to start a seperate thread; I leave that decision up to Dave. The postings for this rally include what pertains to this rally and the poker night is a highlight! So sign me up. please.
To Wayne; I will confirm the price that I (we) were quoted by the end of this week! I will then relay that info on page one.
Since this is our fourth year being the wagonmaster of this rally, I believe that we have a handle on this and things will change slightly from past rallies.
When we left last years rally, it was mentioned that the new owners would be doing the pancake breakfast for us. That is up in the air at the moment! If they are not then the price for the pancake breakfast will stay the same if we do it ourselfs.

We've been to many KOA's in the past and most of them do a pancake breakfast on Saturday AM. They aren't anything like ours in that they don't offer bacon or juice. There's usually only pancakes and I believe they charge $3-5/person. We may be better off in doing the breakfast ourselves.
Also, most of the KOA's also offer an ice cream social where you can make your own sundae. These usually cost around $3/scoop.

Ok I have emailed the Ventura Ranch people. This is what I have been told this week. Subject to change!!! The rate will be $25.00 per a family of 4 per nite! $1.00 for each dog per day! This is a special rate to us because the new KOA rate for this campground is now $34.00 a nite!!! I say this now because there seems to be some memory loss with the person who told us the special price. He has emailed one of the owners which I have contact with and will remind him of the speical rate that we will be paying.
As far as the pancake breakfast Kim is right, their way of doing a pancake breakfast is different from ours! We can do our own thing and I would only ask that the price of $5.00 per family be included with your monies to us! It is still early so no one needs to send any money for now! I will get more facts on all of this when Mr. Cory gets back into his office.
It will be fun to see the changes at the CG. Hopefully all good. I also see they are promoting the "creek" on the website. I would guess there is only water in it two months out of the year.

Hello everyone;
As summer is fast aproaching, time to let you know that I am asking for your monies for Halloween, 2010! There are a couple of familes that have teaching jobs and I know that in the summer, things get tight!
I had mentioned this earlier that I would be asking for TWO nights paid in advance. Also send in your $5.00 per family for the pancake breakfast, and for those who are bringing dogs, it's a $1.00 per dog per night. The rate is still $25.00 per nite.
The extra nights will be collected later after we know who is going to be there those extra nights.
June 30th is the deadline for the above monies.
Also I am trying to upload a few pictures from last year. They will be on the first post by tonight.

If you goto page 1 of the Halloween rally you can click on the link of the campsite. It's going thru some transformation's we have a special rate of $25.00 a nite. Our pancake breakfast is just $5.00 for each family. A number of sites are level. I will be assigning sites later as time goes on. If you are coming earlier and or staying later let me know. I know a number of folks that come in earlier and stay later and I try to group them together.
