We are going down south next week from where we live and are interested in possibly seeing some Travel Trailers in the Anaheim area.
Can someone recomend a good dealer in L.A. area not too far from there. Any place from Ventura south to Anaheim would be good.

I only know the one in Irvine, traveland USA, and the one on the 405 can't think of the name right now...

Travelland USA is off the 5 freeway at Sand Canyon. This is a bit south of Anaheim, but they have a pretty good selection, multiple dealers, lots of different RV styles to choose from, etc.

The one off the 405 freeway in Fountain Valley is a Mike Thompson's RV center. There is one off the 5 in Santa Fe Springs as well, just north of the Orange County line (nee, The Orange Curtain). My friend and former co-worker would tell you to avoid Mike Thompson's at all costs, but I personally have never dealt with them.

One more: 5 freeway at the Artesia exit there is a Camping World. They have a few RVs for sale, but probably not enough to warrant getting off the freeway.

That's about it for OC and RV dealers any more. HTH

We have a committment for the weekend that we must attend to so this weekend will be out of the kwesteon. Thank you though Recumbant Family.

Dee: We are headed down to the 'Happiest Place On Earth' for Mon and Tues. Coming home on Wed with a posible stop at Universal Studios on the way back as well. Depends on how tired we are after the weekend activity and D-land.

We went to an RV show last year at Earl Warren in Santa Barbara and saw some of their representative merchandise that Thompson had to offer, as well as met some sales staff. We were not too impressed.

There also used to be a couple big dealers in Ventura at the Johnson Dr. exit. Haven't been by there in a few years so not sure if they have survived the economy.

How is Barber RV? When we saw them at the RV show in SB, we liked their product lines and the sales staff was very nice also.
Has anyone dealt with them?
