It snowed here in Cincinnati last night! And it's still snowing this morning. Maybe 2 to 3 inches expected.
I also saw there was snow somewhere in Florida? That is hard to believe.
It snowed up on the Florida Panhandle the other night. Despite what most people think, we do get some freezing temps in northern Florida BREIFLY most every January. I'm currently at Clerbrook Golf & RV Resort in Groveland FL, they are predicting freezing temps down toward mid state, I'm currently 15 miles south of what they are showing the "Freeze Warning" line for Sunday morning. That Freeze line puts Leesburg in the freeze area, and I'm 15 miles south of Leesburg.
We stayed inside for five days of ice. It's finally thawing out, but it's a MESS!
It was 37º when I got up this morning, has warmed to 57º, but now starting to slowly drop. It's supposed to hit 70º tomorrow and 85º by Wednesday!!
It has stayed cold here. Low today was forecast to be 31° but woke up to 12° feels like 4°.
Weather folks say it will be 50° in 3 days. Hmmm
I wish the weather would make up its mind. From snow to warm temps to melt the snow, then days of wind and rain. We've had 6.5" of rain this month, the ground is so soggy the wind blew part of our fence down. Today it's 32° with snow on the cars.
It's just as crazy down here, at least by Florida standards. Temps dropped to 44º last night, and the wind was blowing and the weather guy said wind chill to 37º (yeah, they think that's super cold down here). Supposed to get a little colder than that tonight, but my electric heaters keep the temps at 66º inside over night so I'm not complaining. However, when it gets this cold, the Iguana's go catatonic and start falling out of the tree's....
The weather here is crazy. It's been in the upper 40's and sunny the past couple of days. That is not early February weather for SW Ohio. Back in 1976 it was so cold the Ohio River froze over. While we're not wanting that kind of cold, and not really minding the warm sunny stuff, it's just having three seasons in one week is crazy.
