Where I'm living now I have lots of customers that have EV Trucks. The ones I recall are the Rivian, Hummer, F150 Lightning and cybertruck. Two of my customers just got cyperbrucks both rave about the steering system on it. One of the customers went from 0 Teslas to three in the first few weeks of March, two of which are cybertrucks (the third car is the Model S Plaid). He is planning to get one of them decked out but is worried what that will do to the range especially since the range extender was canceled.

Last post by GoneCamping - May 26, 2025, 06:51 PMI'm on the highest point in the park!! I specifically asked to be up on the hill because my T-Mobile service in Sturbridge really is piss poor. I rode around the park before I gave them my resume holding my phone and watching how many bars I had. Most of the park it barely had 1 bar, but up on that hill I had 3 bars! And I kind of rely on my T-Mobile 5G Home internet. I do get free park WIFI, but really don't like park WIFI, especially when the park is full!!

Last post by CamperDan - May 24, 2025, 05:04 PMI guess it's been awhile since I've been on. We ended up canceling the Cybertruck order, it came in at much higher than we wanted to pay.
I also got laid-off so we were in no position to buy anything new. I got a new job back in August so we finally pulled the trigger and bought a used 2024 F150 Lightning which we really like. We had to buy the tesla adapter so we can charge at the superchargers but, that's a little tricky since the charge port is on the opposite side from where Tesla likes them.
We were hoping to get it early enough to make a Memorial Day trip but since we just got it about a week and a half ago I want to have a little more experience with the charging situation before I hook up the camper and take a trip. So far have tried the superchanger in Wilsonville and Clackamas. Clackamas was tricky, I ended up taking up to parking sports but it wasn't very busy at the time. I can see where that will be an issue if it is busy. The wilsonville charger was better the cables are longer, that stalls are different there as well, just a white monolith.

Been in the middle of this Nor' Easter all day today, good thing I get Wednesdays & Thursdays off! Have been listening in on the campgrounds 2-way all day, they've been relatively quiet too. Tomorrow should be a busy day as the weekend warriors arrive for the holiday weekend. Maybe the rain will drive some of them away?!?!
