RE: Carefree Super Sport Awning

This spring the first project was to install the new Carfree Super Sport Awning.  So far I am disapointed with the quality and function [:@]. First off this is not an installation for the average consumer the instructions are poorly written [>:]. There have been several functional problems some were rivets not complete and the end caps that the awning roller pivots in will not stay in the support arms the hardware is already rusting just to mention a few [:@]. This awning is a little cumbersom to set up [: (] but once up is very nice I like the roll up awning just wish it was a little better put together. The good thing is I sold my bag awning and screen room for enough to pay for it!  Bottom line is don t install it yourself unless you have the patience of Jobe and look at one closely before you buy.

Sent my camper back to the shop today.  Just because of the super sport carefree awning.  The laches keep closing on the way up and down.  I have to baby it.  I told the dealer that installed it  to fix the problem or refund my money.  It takes 3 people to set-up and take-down now.  Good luck on your and I will let you know the out come of mine.
