Hi All! Just wanted to share a SPUT and a good reason to use the BAL or Lynx Levelers, etc.
I had made a 2 level ramp out of 2 x 6 s. The bottome biece was about 24 or 36"  long and the top piece was 12 - 13" , both angle cut and screwed together to form a leveling ramp. I set up the PU in the yard last week because it was so hot we needed to sleep in it! When I pulled the trailer off to get ready for camping the front edge of the ramp must have kicked the rear edge up and into the frame, floor and lifting tubes of the camper! I noticed that side of the camper coming up when it should have been going down! I straightened out the lift tubes as best I could and burned the homemade ramp that I d been using for years!
I HAVE both the BAL leveler and the Lynx blocks, but continued to use the ramp because I thought it was easier!!!

garym053Before this year I was always a  block guy  too.  Different length 2X4 s and 2X6 s and I could see the potential for an incident depending on set.  BAL leveler has been working great for us.

Glad your damage was not any worse!  ...like through the floor!

 garym053Greetings, everyone,

I found a mail order source for the BAL leveler and chocks and they got here a few days ago.  I like the way they work, but man are they HEAVY.

I ve been debating whether we should return them and get lynx levelers instead, but I think we re going to use the BAL leveler with lightweight plastic chocks.
