 Very nice!

As you may remember a while back I was looking for one to take camping but also use at the house. The problem was getting one with chargeable batteries or one a/c and dc combined. Found it and I do really like it . Very easy to setup. It can be used as a desktop or portable. Battery backup. Codes I got off the web to setup with. If I want to take it camping just pull the a/c plug and go.  We do not listen to it all the time so we leave it in standby mode. Worth while looking into...Here is a web page for it. pricing can run from 29$, what I paid for it, to 90$, so be careful.

whitestar505We ve been using the WR196T, from Oregon Scientific, for years with no problems. Lots of features and not really expensive.

A place to get them is Valco Electronics; click [link=http://www.valcoelectronics.com/oregon/weather_tools.htm]HERE.[/link]  They re both an authorized and stand-up when there s a problem, Oregon Scientific dealer.
