Dam Quarry Campground, Arkansas

Has anyone ever stayed here before?  I can't get reservations for the dates in March that we are going ... but there are some sites that are not reservable.  Since we will be arriving on a Monday I am hoping we can get a site.  Does anyone know how popular this place is in March?  Any suggestions for campgrounds nearby if this one is full?  We stayed at Bull Shoals/White River state park last year in March but really wanted to try this place this year.
