I can't say enough good things about my first experence with our new generator.  We camped at our local state park (Lake Norman State Park in NC) which has no connections.  I ran the generator during the day to supply the camper and to run our battery charger.  It never reved up above the "economy throtle" and was very quiet.  The only place that it could be called loud would be directly behind it at the exhaust from the muffler.  With a good extension cord, I could keep it far from and pointed away from my neighbors.

We also ran the generator to keep our Igoo power cooler running while I was at work.  I started it when I arrived and ran it all day. I topped the tank off at lunch (holds a gallon of gas), but I bet it could have gone all day with just one gallon.  Very nice not to have to run a long cord to the building or drain my battery.

Someday I hope to get a second one and run my A/C.  For now, we are very happy with just one.

They have a great web site at http://www.hondapowerequipment.com/gen.asp  Even has a "flash-type" movie that shows the generators.

Congratulations on the new HONDA. I also have one of these and it works out great. It will even run my A/C, and still have a little power left. If you have one of the newer A/C units it might even run yours, without the expense of a second generator. HAPPY DRY CAMPING with POWER.

OC Campers

We have the 1000 and really like it.  It saved our rear end this past dry camping trip.  We were gone for a week and our 3 year old insisted on watching the portable DVD player.  I never realized how much power these small players use.  All I can say is we used a whole gallon of gas for one week:yikes: :) .  These Honda generators are so quiet.  It is amazing.

I'm so glad to hear all the great things about this generator. We bought this same generator a couple of weeks ago but haven't had a chance to try it out yet.

We got ours at the start of the summer and really do enjoy it when camping at Forest Service or State Parks.
Thumbs Up!
