I purchased one of the Align-Quick Hitching Guides described in the most recent issue of PUT. Tried it out today and I think it is GREAT!  Well built and very easy to use.  I highly recommend it.

I'm glad to hear that, I ordered a set right after I read the article in PUT. I usually hithch up myself and the hybrid doesn't have a wheel on the front so I have to be pretty much dead on. so it takes me a zillion attempts :banghead:

You will really like this tool, Dee4j.  On my pop-up, I could move the trailer a little to line up with the hitch on level ground.  I always had problems if it was on a hill or I had to approach the trailer at an angle.  Now, all you have to do is let the two orange tips touch and you are perfectly aligned. I like this even better than the steel plate system I had before that you could put on your hitch, then back up to contact the trailer.

I hope more great products like this will be in future magazines and in the PUT store.

Where can we see one of these.  I usually use the DW to align but find although she means well, I'm really alone

I help my dh backup too but he keeps telling me that my middle finger is not a hand signal:yikes: :eyecrazy: :) .  I think I should pick some of these up too.

That's funny !!  I know my DW has probably used that signal before.

It's not????  :eyecrazy: well thanks for informing me.

The new family of our PU will be picking it up Sat. so I may let him borrow them to see them in action otherwise I'll have wait 3 weeks to see how they work.

Hopefully we will have a new member soon. I've told him ALL about PUT ( I left out how crazy we all are) he said he looked at the website briefly and was going to check it out some more.  Hopefully their family will join us on a rally they're really nice people and DD will be happy to visit the PU-she's sad it's going.

I don't have much trouble getting ball under the coupler if the hieght is right. Will this tool solve that problem. All the other trailers I pull I jack the tounge up to unhook and don't change it until I'm letting it down to hook back up.
