For those of you, like myself, who have a difficult time aligning your tow vehicle with your trailer hitch. I recommend Magnetic Hitching Rods.

These things have saved a few arguments with me & the wife. Now I can hook up by myself without her giving directions.
They are only twenty bucks at Camping World & store easily in your trailer.

:) Eric, Thanks for the info.  I had seen these being used and wondered where to find them.  They look as though they would save alot   yelling.

I don't have any trouble lining up to the hitch. M ost trailers I just back up to, but most trailers I don't change the hight of the coupler from the time I unhook until I hook back up. After leveling the PUP do the rods show that the coupler is the right hight to just touch the top of the ball?

No, that you have to do yourself. I will make a note of the height of the coupler before I level the trailer. Then adjust it back when we are hooking up again. I find it usefull since my TV is a SUV.
