AustinBostonStarted out with the Lynx levelers but bought the BAL leveler once I found out it existed. It works great. Now I use the Lynx blocks under my corner supports.

 AustinBostonHi everybody[:D],

Having double axles, I have three sets of Lynx levelers...and I ve had to use them all on an occassion or two.  If the ground is really uneven (like with broken/missing pieces of cement or asphault), I use some 9"  X9"  - 1/2 inch thick plywood squares so the Lynx levelers have a good base and are more level.  With the additional weight of a hybrid, I have stressed out a few of the levelers.  Now, using the plywood squares on potholed site trailer pads I don t have that problem.[;)]

My vote was " boards" , because I can t afford to buy the BAL Leveler that I really want right now.  I guess I will have to wait for someone to come down east to Nova Scotia from the US and bring one for me to save on the shipping.
To buy one and have it shipped to my home, I m looking at about $140.00 CDN.  More than I can justify for a leveling device.  Boy I wish I lived in the States.  I d only be looking at about $80.00 US then.

Anyone coming my way...  who would be willing to drop off a BAL?

Well, no takers on dropping off a Bal Leveler, and seeing as Camping World had them on sale with $1.00 shipping fees, I broke down and bought one.  No more boards for me anymore.  Instead of paying about $140 CDN, my cost should come to about $76.69 CDN.  Much better than I first thought I could get it for.

 Have a great day everyone.

AustinBostonwe started out with Lynx levelers and liked them a lot for their light weight, but they have disadvantages  when you are setting up camp alone.   so we moved on to a BAL and LOVE IT!  BUT, it is much heavier than the  LynxLevelers as well as a bit  more expensive.  We couldnt camp without the BAL now!

AustinBostonWe were fine with wood until Santa brought me a BAL Leveler...now I wonder how I ever got along without it!   As NightOwl mentioned, it is somewhat heavier, but if you " weigh"  the benefits, it s light by comparison.[:)]
