Both Eureka and Coleman have introduced similar "power pack" type devices for tent campers in the last few years, but they cost more.

That one is a deal for under $10, if you need a portable battery for recharging doodads and gadgets when camping.

I have a similar thing I use when I go out riding.  That thing is a lifesaver.  I used it to start my generator when the Haulers batteries went dead.  I used it at home when the power went out for 3 hours one time, the kid plugged in her portable DVD player and I charges my cell phone at the same time.  worth the investment IMO.
