I ve heard nice things about this lake and am thinking of going soon. There are quite a few campgrounds on this lake that are reservable on the Reserve USA site. I was wondering if anyone has ever been to one of these campgrounds and has some advice. It seem close to the towns of Rogers, Springdale and Fayetteville. So i m hoping that it s not one of those lakes that attracts the local partiers. I ll take any input I can get.
 Thanks

We have camped at many of the Corp of Engineers parks and loved it.  Last year we spent a week a Prairie Creek.  Had showers and small playground near for the kids.  We went in Sept. so was too cold to swim, but park does have a nice swim area with shower at beach.  This park also has a marina for boating supplies.  Very close to Rogers with Wal-Mart not too far from this park.  Highly recommend beaver lake as anyone can find the park that suits their needs/wants.
