Or, it could save ten stitches, in which case would be only slightly more than nine, but nevertheless more than nine, which the difference in 9 or 10 stitches is hardly noticeable, unless you are the one getting the stitches, or even the doctor's bill for the stitches, and even then the bill would be essentially the same, as even one stitch or even a hundred stitches, but if you were getting a hundred stitches, then you probably had a pretty big problem anyway, and might have been knocked out and not even known you were getting stitches, but hopefully you'd be conscious again by the time you got the bill, which would be days or even weeks later, unless the doctor has in-house billing and a well-staffed billing department, which often times bill for services by the next day, which often catch people off guard....

Brainpause, I have to admit, that Zoom-ed right over my head.  That kind of logic is very Yogi Berra-ish.  Like:
 
- If you come to a fork, take it.
- A nickel ain't worth a dime any longer.
- I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous.
- 50% of baseball is 90% mental.
- And, the game isn't over until it's over.
