If your talking about the little "D"-Cell ones that go in the fridge, then yes, it DOES work. It seems to "even" out the cooling inside quite a bit and keeps things that we don't want frozen from freezing.

I had both the inside one that takes the batteries and the outside one that cools the coils, in the popup that we owned.  I found out that the combination of both worked the best.  The outside one I had a thermostat on it that when the temp of the coils go over 100 it would turn on.  (thermostat came with the fan).  I did add an on/off switch to it as I would find it running when we were not camping due to the 100+ days we have here in Texas!  Both together kept the fridge regulated and cooling even during the hotest of days.

YES!
We froze everything from eggs to lettuce, and since buying the fan, we have had no problems!  Get the fan!!!  :D

I think the fan is great!  It works to get the refrigerator cooler faster on start up and also to avoid frozen zones later on.  Camping World had them on sale recently - BUY ONE.

THIS is the fan we are talking about. I've not seen them anywhere else either.
