Camp oven from Cabelas

When I bought my PU from my dad, he had purchased one of these.  He never got around to using it

Anybody use one of these?  If it works, I think it's gonna be nice to have an oven and stove.  It comes with a hose and regulator to use with a propane bottle, but I gotta do some research.  My Taos has a external hookup for LP gas to use the stove outside.  Gotta see what I need to hook this bad boy up to it.

Looks like fun as long as you have room for it.  I'll stick to my dutch.  The kids get a real kick out of what we can do in it. But that oven would be a help when trying to get something done quickly and for a larger group..  Good luck...

I have been looking at the oven/stove for a couple of years, but don't want to spend that much on it and it is heavy.  Let us know how is works...I still have my eye on it.   Coleman is coming out in May with a portable gas oven that looks somewhat like a toaster oven and it will hold a 9x13 pan.  It is about 90 dollars.  I will be looking at that one too.

Looked at both of them this weekend at Bass Pro Shop! I like the oven/stove but for us it would be a little redundant. With no wind deflector/baffle, for the stove part, I'd worry about how effective it would be in windy conditions. Looks very nicely made though. The Coleman oven is about the same size as a medium toaster/oven. I'm thinking that this might be a great addition to the camper! Hmmmmmmm.......
