 I totally absolutely disagree with that statement.  Larry doesn t have an obnoxious bone in his body.

I just checked out the map for Tahoe and didn t relize that the campground is quite a distance from stateline.I had thought that the camp ground was the one on Hiway 50 on the big bend where Lake Tahoe is across the street.

 Yes, you are correct. TVC is not on the big bend. But there are shuttles to the casinos and a trolley that stops in front of the campground that will take people to stateline.
 If you have changed your mind, let me know immediately. Otherwise you will have to go thru TVC to get a refund of your deposit.

The GSMs are packed and ready to go.  We converted the camper from a " stay for days and cook"  scenario to a " travel-sight see-camp for the night-repeat"  setup.  We ll be heavily dependant on our friends at the " Get Lucky by the Lake Rally"  to keep us from withering away from the time we arrive on Thursday until we leave Sunday morning.
 
 Everything is cleaned, reorganized, stocked up, and put away.  Just one problem.  We now have to wait 18 extra-anxious days.  I am already trying to figure out how to leave a week early, slip up into Oregon and still get back to the Rally.  Ah, if it could only be so.
 
 I ll just count my blessings.
 
 I can t remember when I have looked forward to a rally so much.
 
 Might as well start the countdown.

 As we are looking forward to seeing you and everyone else.  This rally should be really good with all the stuff to do in South L.Tahoe.
 
 Potluck? Of course! I suggest Sat morning breakfast AND Sat evening dinner. Because of the expected late check-ins of some of the Friday arrivals and to allow the " gamblers"  of the group every opportunity to socialize with other NNCers at some point during the rally.

 Are our sites equipped with " real"  full hook-ups (E, W, & S)?
 If you aren t sure off-hand, I d be happy to call and confirm the info., but thought I d ask you first in case you already have confirmed this.
 Thought I d ask this here so everyone can see the confirmed answer.
 I just don t want another " Olema"  to happen where sewer is (or was at the time of the rally) advertised on the website and then thankfully Thursday arrivals (G s, SammySlave, etc...) called Nick (I think) and had him post for everyone to bring their grey H2O totes at the very last minute.  I for one leave my grey H2O tote at home if I " assume"  there is sewer hook-up s.

 The arrangements that I have made with TVC should be with full-hookups only.
 In fact some campsites may have the option of cable TV and fire rings.
 But feel free to give TVC a call. Ask for Jan Mitchell who handles rallies.
