Hi. I am downsizing my RV rig (a whole lot) and I found a mini pop up camper designed to be towed by cycles and small cars. It's the trailmaster Aspen Classic. Does anyone have any info on these cute little campers? I'd love to hear from some owners before I run out and buy one.

Thanks a bunch!

STEVE:

I do not have one but did some research when considering buying one. Go to the Honda Goldwing forum, many posts about this camper, most are very positive. I did inspect a used Roll'A'Home, well made.  For the price, you may want to find a used Apache Eagle or similiar camper and rebuild.  For less than $1500, you can buy and rebuild a basic camper, including replacing the canvas vs. $4000-$6000 for a new Motorcycle campers.  I found a 1969 Wards camping trailer similiar to motorcycle campers with a 4'  by 76" box , in good to excellent condition with good canvas for $400.  If you live in the midwest, the basic units are  common.  Go to the Apache forum, and you will find photos and units for sale.
