Does anyone have any experience with this campfire grill or knows someone who does? http://www.gratematecorp.com

I m looking for some feedback &/or reviews from those who have experience with this grill. I m interested in purchasing it as it will accommodate our " Big Daddy"  20-inch fry pan (AKA " Monster Fry Pan" , " Big @$$ Fry Pan" ) over the campfire. We purchased the fry pan from Sportsmansguide.com. DH & I think it will be a nice combination to have at the campground for both of our family reunions this year. We just want to hear from others on this product.

If the quality is good, then the $40 for the product is worth the investment.  If the quality isn t any good, then it is just a waste of money.  Hence, the reason I m searching for some feedback.

 Peace be with you all.

DanusmomI found someone who has this campfire grill. She was on one of 4 forums I belong to with the next to the least traffic volume & membership. Go figure.

Anyway, she highly praises the product. It s sturdy enough for all the cast-iron cookware. She did say, however, that they remove the heavy pots/pans to adjust the height of the grilling surface.

Here s some more detail info on this campfire grill.  Fortunately, I printed off the description along with the dimensions from the Sportsmansguide.com web page when they did have it available:

Grilling improvement for over your campfire! Grate Mate is great. Why? Because raising and lowering its giant 23 1/2"  x 19"  grill is easily done by moving a side lever. No screws. No pins. Just one-handed action moves all 4 corners up/down at the same time. Nothing tipsy either...your food won t roll off in to the fire. Even has an adjustable 13"  x 12 1/2"  side mini-grill for use as a warming rack or to toast hamburger buns. Rack has side hooks to hang/organize cooking tools.

 There s more:
 *Solid Steel construction
*Grill raises from 7"  to 28"  for full heat control, regardless of flame size
 *36"  assembled height
 *Weighs 16 3/4 pounds
*Comes with 27x20x8"  heavy-duty nylon carry bag

 WX2-63012 - Grate Mate $29.97

 Peace be with you all.
