You will find old time favorites like the one below:
GOPHER GUTS
[Tune: The Old Gray Mare]
Great green gobs of greasy grimy gopher guts, mutilated
monkey meat, dirty little pigeon s feet.
All mixed up with a pile of poison possum pus, and me without
my spoon.
And me without my spoon; and me without spoon.
Great green gobs of greasy grimy gopher guts, and me without
my spoon. [We ll use a straw!]
GeneFThings I always need to know, thanks.[:D]
GeneFHey Gene, I wish KiwiCrazy was here, one of their daughters feel in love with a camp fire booklet I put together and as I result, I had to give her her very own copy[:)]

GeneFGene the version I learned is:
Great green globs of greasey grimey gopher guts,
Mutilated monkey meat, concentrated bird s feet.
One quart jar of all purpose porpoise puss and
Me with out my spoon.
[8D]
GeneFAnd then there was this version:
Eighteen pounds of greasy grimy gopher guts,
Mutilated monkey meat, little birdies bloody feet
all wrapped up in prehistoric puppy puss
and I forgot my spoon.
Aww man, I have got to get a life!!!![:D]
I know, I know...Enough now. And to think, I m eating pizza while I m typing this. Darn sauce on the keyboard again.
GeneFOK, I ll bite (no pun) [;)]
Here s the version I learned:
Great big gobs of greasy grimey gopher guts,
chopped-up monkey meat,
perforated birdies feet.
French-fried eyeballs swimming in a pool of blood,
gee, I forgot my spoon.
Wow! Starcraft Dad was right - we DO have to get a life!! [8D][8D][8D]
GeneFGene,[:D]

GeneFMan, what a bunch of sick stuff to read just before sitting down to eat! Ugh! And I was just about to enjoy a nice bowl of horse guts fried in snot and then I had to read these disgusting songs. Totally lacking in class. Or, maybe, we might call this
Gas with Class![/b][: (]

GeneFI like to sing Opera at the campfire. Also..back in my millitary days, we had some doozies for when we were singing cadence (which I m sure other military members, and vets could attest to), but won t put them on here cause they ll get this thread locked for sure.
GeneFThey should try serving it on FEAR FACTOR! Wanna bet no one would collect the fifty thousand!
Have a great day, Oh and you have some slime running down your chin...
[;)]
GeneFThanks! I think I knew the words to about 98% of those songs but they have sort of drifted away in the last 40 years or so.
BTW: " Duck" is dead on with what he says. Cadence song cannot be repeated here!!![;)]
GeneFMy DS loved the different versions of the song.[:D]
GeneFGene, A side of you I never knew. But FUNNY! Holly and I (both being nurses) like to play Grosser than Gross with each other. This will come in handy!
