Title: Muffins?
Post by: SuZone on Sep 28, 2003, 07:05 PM
I know someone else mentioned it, but what  are the little designs below our names?  They really do look like muffins![:D]
And are they going to represent how many times we post?  I really hope not, that was one part of the old board that I felt uncomfortable with, actually a better word would be intimidated.[:(]

SuZoneFrosted cupcakes, yummy.  If you want a zero calorie frosting recipe I have one.  Place the item(s) to be frosted outside on a cold night.  In the morning the item will be frosted, unless a critter gets to it first.[:D]

I think I read somewhere on the board that Dave is planning on a poll about the " muffins."   So we will all get a chance to vote on it.  Personally, I wouldn t mind if the muffins got burned.

I don t really think anyone is in a race for the most posts again.  I think we are all glad that the board is back and we are all ready to get the fingers moving.

I think the moderators are the ones with the most muffins.  Think they will share?  I like the blueberry and maple walnut ones. [:)]

SuZoneWhen I go to bed tonight, my earnest prayer will be, " Please, Dear God, no muffins, no cupcakes, no popup icons, NO NUMBERS."

Why isnt it enuff just  to have our names and when we joined?  Why do we even need numbers?

WE DONT NEED NO STEENKIN  NUMBERS!                    (Do we?)

SuZonecould it be that they are very healthy bran muffins, made with applesauce instead of shortening, and studded with little raisins and bits of dates?   (My Gram use to make them like that, and I miss hers)
 T
 [;)]
actually I believe that they are stars, very short pudgy ones, and we only get them if we ve been really good.  That s why hardly anyone has very many

NightOwlWell we don t really need anything but our user names. I don t care if we have icons of some sort or not, but if we keep the # of posts we might as well keep the " muffins"  too. And when we start getting NEW members how are they going to feel when the are the only ones that don t have the " Charter Member"  under their names.

CathyAnnnow let me see if i ve got this right...

the reason admin had to start charging was because there were so many subscribers posting lots of nonsense and using up a lot of bandwidth.  right?

so now that the humongous number of people has been reduced to a large handful y all are trying to use up space by talking of muffins.  Frankly, I prefer crumpets [8D]
