angelsmom10What surprised me is that during national Anthem, some people do not stand up here (Canada). Now I will never feel as Canadian as a native Canadian, but this is my country now and I do stand up.

I can t stand people showing disrespect to their own nationality and country !

P.S. We do not stand up to the flag in Turkey, but you can not show one person not standing up while national anthem is playing (ummm, to be honest, the would get roughed up pretty good).

If we stop respecting what we stand for, what represents us, there is no stopping the downhill slide [&:]

angelsmom10I really liked this link, although it does not surprise me since in America we found the " Pledge of Allegience" unconstitutional, due to the phrase, " One nation under God"
