Title: Birol s Tent - Part 2
Post by: Gone-Camping on Sep 28, 2003, 07:05 PM
Ok folks, as Cavman mentioned in another thread, Birol & family have come and gone. We all had a good time, and it was great placing some faces with the names!

Birol, Babette and daughter presented Cavman & myself with some very thoughful gift s, to which I m truely grateful... Thank you Birol!

The pictures have been posed, but beware, it s a big down load. So big, that I split it off into two pages. The first page has pictures that were taken by Cavman and a narrative that I wrote. The second page contains photo s that I took while Birol & Cavman were setting up the tent...

Gone-Camping[:)][:D][;)]OMG. Did you ever do a great posting. Thanks sooooooo much.

I don t think that there could have been any happier or more joyful gathering of " friends"  than took place during your visit with me, Birol and his family.  Truly wonderful.

I m sitting here writing/typing this post with teary eyes.[:(][:(][:(]  To be able to share and spread the " good"  of PUT (and it s members), demonstrates how the family atmosphere is generated among the members whether near or far.

Shucks, I ve got to stop this or I ll have to get the wet vac out.

Cliff --- Thanks again for coming over and joining the fun and expecially for posting the fruits of our labors of care and friendship.[;)][;)]

Birol (when you read this) ---  Go get um dude.  Camping is a joy forever.  See you in June.[:D][:D]

 GN all.

Gone-CampingI already invited Birol for the May 2nd weekend and he was thinking about it hopefully they make it. I do believe that the weather may be the deciding factor for them.
Guys hope you enjoy that ice wine it is indeed very sweet but absolutely delicious.
Thanks to the generousity of some great people they are better equipped then we were the first time out [;)]. God bless you both.
And to Birol HAPPY CAMPING! [8D]

Gone-CampingWhat a neat post, and how generous and kind you guys were to help Birol with his camping needs.  I know I ve said this before, and I ll say it again, but the people on this board are the best representatives of what describes true friends that there could ever be.

Gone-Campingokay.... fess up...who else was teary-eyed as they looked at the pics and read the narrative?

at a time when there is a threat of war, recession, and all other kinds of misery in the newspapers, this was truly heart-warming.  thanks and congratulations to all.

Just ask birol & his family.....................OR, take it from us, meeting Elisa (NightOwl) or Mike (campertime) or many of the other cyber-space friends here at PUT or countless other chat areas. They are all just friends we haven t met yet    [:D][:D][:D]
