I am replacing the A/C gasket on our PU. I have it off and cleaned up. I was wondering what the best adhesive for the roof to gasket part would be. I got the seal from coleman and it has the tape on the side to the A/C unit and after spending two nights after work getting the old off, I know it will hold. I just can t figure out the other side. Any suggestions would be helpful.

JimiJam44Done several AC installations and never used anything between the AC gasket and the roof. The gasket is the sealing surface. Also when tightening the bolts check the compression of the gasket and don t compress it more than the directions say to. Over compressing it WILL cause it to leak.
JimiJam44Mike has it right. No adhesive is needed on the trailer side of the seal.
