Title: Snowman Recipe
Post by: GaryWT on Sep 28, 2003, 07:05 PM
This could have gone in the recipe forum but does anyone have a good recipe for making snowmen at camp.  It looks like camping in New England will include plenty of snow but I have never made a snowman at camp.  Other than staying away from the fire, any thought.

GaryWTBeing from MA myself, do you have a lot of plans to camp with snow on the ground??  You need a bit to be able to construct one, and hopefully winter is over now?!
Are you talking about building one or making the snow (ie snowcone machine) to bulid one, or some treat that is going by another name??!!!   [&:]

GaryWTA great trick is to use a bucket (think about making sand castles at the beach) and really pack the snow into it.  You can build a big STURDY snowman using different sizes.    This is from our Michigan/Iowa lives, don t get to use it much in Texas.
